Day 1 of class (mon)

Here are pictures of the rockies right out the door of our apartment

We have had 2 ladies teaching adult learning today, basically they teach us how to deal with people. Interesting. Tomorrow is our first day with horses, maybe only watching at first. We were told we will be massaging the horses at a cattle company and the local polo club horses. So a variety of horses.

Suppose to snow again on Thursday.

Ill post the other pics. Just silly pics on break. If you notice in the above photo the mountains look very familiar to our mountains. Not a lot of green on them. Some one said this is considered the high desert?. We are about an hour from Estes park if you are familiar with that. My roommates are very likable. I feel as if I have known them for a long time. Day 2, April 26th

Heidi and I went out to shop and this is what we ran into. For those of you who do not recognize it, this is Bullhead rain (snow).


After shopping we went back to the apartment waiting the arrival of our other roommates from Canada, Lieu (Lou) and Jessica. We made chili with cornbread and Lieu brought some corona and a brew from Boulder CO.

Here is how you get internet connection in our apartment. Lieu discovered this spot on the floor however, you need to have your legs extended and Jessica must have her feet pointed.
Our night was spent learning how to blog. Heidi has us corrupted already.

Then Heidi needed to check out the hot spot.

My new journey, day one April 25, 2008

I started my journey at 033o on Friday and arrived in Loveland Co at 1930 (time change).
Heidi from Belgium was waiting,(she arrived on Thurs) We had pizza visited a little and crashed. The time change for Heidi is 8 hours.
