Our last circle, a few leaking eyes. The cord will be cut tomorrow. Tomorrow is our graduation, and we all say good-luck and see you later. There are no good byes. This is not a permanent departure, we will see each other again. This is not the end but only the begining of our adventure and wonderful friendships.

Thursday
We went out to a horse rescue and worked on some horses, this was a different experience.
Got out early, came back and packed a little, went by the pool, and then had our last family just us 8 (4, inside joke), at the table. Liw had us talking about one good thing that we will remember about our trip and one good thing we are glad to come home to when we leave, and she said it wasnt meant to have leakage at the eyes. I didnt read the script very well. Miss Lara joined us for this.
We then went to the Babe's apt. and had a party with 8 women, drinking, playing cards, was a great time!! Another great memory. Who says a bunch of women cant get along.
Tomorrow is our last day. Having a bit of anxiety. Ken will be here today , that will make it even more realistic that its over and time for home and our new adventure into the business word.
Chelsie said she would bring the kleenex. :(

Painted horses
Jessica talked about the frustration of putting these horses together in her blog. We had alot of help, Cat helped us hold our pieces together and read our directions with Karen . Karen was a photographer. One day Sue stopped by and was given pieces to hold.
While we were putting these together you didnt stop by with out being given a job to do. Plus everyone got to have free glue sniffing in our apartment. Frustration yes, but we were able to share with our friends, glue and beer, a little family time. So over all it was
VERY FRUSTRATING!
Jessica you underestimated the frustraion level in your blog.

Week 8
The week started off in class on Monday with Sara and Harline doing movment and massage.
Going over everything we have learned.
Tuesday was business, doing our 5 min presentations and then going to Ricks doing the other presentation. today was out last day of indoor class room.
and of course saying good-bye to each place. :( as we leave.
Crystal did a nice demonstration with the HEBBOS, thank you Crystal.
We go to TT, up the mountains today, a new place tomorrow (HR) and 1/2 day on Friday.
Ken and other class mates family will be arriving on Friday. Graduation on Sat and then homeward bound. WOW!
Seems a bit weird.
Next week I will be back to work at the fire department and then the next week after that I will be doing massages, trying to build my business. just a little weird.
I remember when I was learning to dance and Ron would push me off to dance with other people, I was so scared and nervous but each time it was easier. Of course no one could dance like him, this is kinda like that. Sara and Michael will be cutting the cord.
As far as the apartment goes, we have to fininsh our horses, we have been working on these for a week, we have not been able to sit at our table to eat as a group. Tonight we will fininsh these. Thursday we will start cleaning and packing, for those of us who will leave on Sat.
As a group we went out to eat at the Rock Bottom Brewery last night, and sang Happy Bday to Lara.
Posting pics the next time around

White Water (last sunday)
Well our last Sunday was spent at death's door. Not really. It was a lot of fun. I was a little leary about going and then when a wave knocked me into the boat I was alot LEARY!
It was good. I am glad I was able to spend this day with my very special friends. We are all very sad this is coming to an end, I have met wonderful people from all over, memories I will cherish forever!

Reniassance Festival (sat)
I think this was the hottest day we have had so far. The festival was set in a beutiful location, lots of pine trees. I was amazed to how much trouble these people go to for this. The costumes were not just for the workers. Alot of people showed up in all kinds of costumes, such as fairies, samaris, scottish kelts, and a few I didnt know what they were. Stephanie was there to explain a few things to us, she will be working here when class is over.
Jousting
Jousting
Friday, Ethiopian food
What an experience, this trip here has been an education all the way around. This was a great evening with alot of jokes and laughter. Again our faculty members shine! Heidi is telling a joke in Dutch, it was fun trying to figure out what she was saying. We all laughed at the right time, then she re told it in English.

CC, roundup
This week at the CC was roundup, to include branding, vaccination and insect control. Alot of time castrating is included but I did not see them doing that this time. The man in the black who gets to perform the actual task of branding is a dude. The picture directly below is the seperation of mommas and babies.
The horses after a massage, what a challange this day was. The horses were all anxious due to the excitement happening around them (roundup).
Potluck at Ricks
Our last potluck was held at Ricks. As you see here Michael is playing his guitar while Rick is driving. What a joy to see and hear. All of our faculty members have made us all feel at home, while away from home. Rick gave us all a ride this day. We celebrated Caseys 23rd b'day. Food was great as usual!
Shopping after the potluck, and as you can see Jess and Heidi are trying to get sent to the car.

Games
Playing games at Ricks with the little HEBOS (hate every one but our selves). There are 3 of them, so we break up into 3 groups and work with them. They know how to train us real well.
Here I had to walk him onto the bridge and have him stand, standing behind the cones.
Doing a side pass over a log. Sitting on a barrel I had to make him back up into the opening hes in front of.
Its all about feel and timing, this is what Rick has beat into our heads for 7 weeks

Results
This week so far has been a great week for me. I love to see the horses be able to get a great stretch. We were in a herd of about 30 horses massaging without lead ropes. The idea is to get your connection with the horse and keep them with you. It is amazing to see, you have mares pushing all the horses around and wranglers in there catching horses for rides. So there is alot of activity and for the most our horses just stand there. A wrangler came and took this horse so I started on another "Leo" his stretch was like a dog does, he put his front legs straight out in front of him hind end in the air and just stretched from forlimb to butt. Couldnt get a camera out fast enough.

CCC
One of our trips to a dude ranch. Here they served us a lunch. Wonderful food and hospitality.
This is a Belgian Draft horse, Liw just made a comment on how it resembles Heidi being from
Belgium and all. I think he must have dyed his hair, that is the difference.
Miracle Day
We went out for a listening day, very quiet approach with our massage.
Here you can see the affects of a massge.
These horses throughly enjoyed it, there was even one more not caught on film.
So now you can see how the horse can react, just as a human.
